  • Covers only vet fees and complementary therapy fees as standard. Other benefits are optional.
    Optional benefits include third party liability, travel cover and other usual benefits.
    After you pet reaches 10 years old (7 years for selected breeds) you will have to pay 35% of the treatment fees.
    Covers behavioural therapy fees although this is limited to treatment for emotional or mental disorders which could not have been prevented by training.

  • Physiotherapy and behavioural therapy are included within your vet fees limit.
    There is also a separate cover limit of £750 for the following complementary therapies.

    Hydrotherapy
    Acupuncture
    Homeopathic or herbal medicines.
    Laser treatment.
    Hydrotherapy is limited to 10 sessions for each condition.

  • The standard excess is £85.
    After you pet reaches 10 years old (7 years for selected breeds) you will have to pay 35% of the treatment fees.
    The excess for third party liability claims is £250.

  • The maximum age for taking out a new policy is 7 years old for dogs (4 years for selected breeds) and 9 years old for cats.
    A contribution payment is required for older pets (over 10 years old or 7 years old for selected breeds). The amount is not specified in the policy.
    Death from illness benefits are only payable for pets under 8 years old (or 5 years old for selected breeds).
