  • This policy covers vet fees for accidents and illnesses.
    The policy will pay out a maximum of £5,000 per condition in any one year, and has a lifetime limit of £35,000 per condition. It also provides third party liability cover and a range of other benefits.
    There is a limit of £1,000 for CT/MRI scans, and a limit of £2,000 for cruciate ligament injuries.
    You have to pay 15% of treatment costs for pets over 8 years old (contribution payment).
    Will only pay for out of hours consultations where your pet was suffering from a life-endangering condition or your vet can confirm in writing that it was essential and not to have done so would have seriously worsened your pets condition.

  • The following complementary medicine is covered

    Physiotherapy
    Hydrotherapy
    Acupuncture
    Homeopathic or herbal medicines.
    Laser treatment. The cover limit for complementary therapy is £800 and this comes out of your vet fees cover limit.

  • The vet fees excess is £75 per condition per policy year.
    You have to pay 15% of treatment costs for pets over 8 years old (contribution payment).
    The excess for third party liability claims is £250.

  • There is no age limit for new policies.
    You have to pay 15% of treatment costs for pets over 8 years old (contribution payment).
    No death or loss benefits are payable for pets who are over 8 years old.
