  • Will pay for prescription foods and behavioural consultations.
    If your normal vet practice is not open or cannot offer you an appointment you should call their vetfone for advice.
    For pets aged 9 and over you have to pay 20% of the treatment costs if this is more than the excess amount. (Otherwise you will still pay your normal excess amount).
    Holiday cancellation benefit only cover trips to European Union countries.

  • Complementary therapy cover includes

    Physiotherapy
    Hydrotherapy
    Acupuncture
    Chiropractic treatment
    Osteotherapy
    Herbal medicine
    Homeopathy
    The cover limit for complementary therapy is £2,000. This is included within your vet fees cover limit.

  • The standard vet fees excess is £60 per condition per year.
    You can increase this to £80 or £140 in return for a lower premium.
    For pets aged 9 and over this is increased to 20% of the treatment costs if this is more than the excess amount. (Otherwise you will still pay your normal excess amount).

    The excess for third party liability claims is £250.
    There is also an excess for holiday cancellation (trip cancellation) claims which is £75.

  • There is no age limit for new policies.

    Death by illness benefits are only payable for pets under 9 years old.
