Esure

Esure was launched in 2000 with the intention of using the internet as its primary sales vehicle.

It has grown rapidly and now employs more than 1200 people in the UK.

Their pet insurance policies are underwritten by Zenith Insurance plc

According to their website, Zenith Insurance plc can trace its roots back to 1937 and is primarily focused on motor insurance.

The policies are arranged and administered by BDML Connect Ltd.

BDML are based in Portsmouth and are one of the country's largest insurance administrators with more than 600 staff.

Pet Insurance Policies

Both of Esure's pet insurance policies are maximum condition limit policies.

At present they do not offer any lifetime annual benefit policies.

You have to pay 10% of vet fees for all pets whatever their age.

The standard excess is £75 but you can opt to increase this to £175 in return for a lower premium.
