This policy is for pets aged 8 years or over. This is a 12 month policy which will pay a maximum of £1,000 per condition (total of £4,000 per policy period). It will stop paying for treatment either when the treatment cost reaches £1,000 or 12 months after the date the condition started whichever comes first. Will not pay any claims for accidents caused by your dog whilst they were being handled by someone else (either with or without your permission). Benefits payable for the loss of your pet are limited to the lower of purchase price or market value, and this is then further reduced for older pets. There are treatment cost limits such as £45 per consultation and £90 for an out-of-hours visit. This policy does not include any travel cover.
The following complementary medicine is covered Physiotherapy Hydrotherapy Acupuncture Homeopathic or herbal medicines. Hydrotherapy is limited to £250 per condition. There is no separate cover limit for complementary therapy. These are paid out of your vet fees limit.
The excess fees range between £79 and £109 depending on where you live and which plan you choose. You will also have to pay 35% of any vet fees (known as a contribution payment). The excess for third party liability claims is £250.
