Admiral

Admiral was launched in 1993 and is best known for car insurance.

Admiral is the trading name of EUI Limited which in turn is part of Admiral Group Plc

The Admiral Group own a number of other brands including the car insurance company Elephant and the comparison site Confused.com.

Admiral's pet insurance policies, like several other pet insurance policies, are arranged and administered by Ultimate Pet Partners Limited and underwritten by Ultimate Insurance Company Limited.

Ultimate Insurance Company (based in Gibraltar) and Ultimate Pet Partners (based in the UK) are both part of the Ultimate HC Limited group of companies based in the UK.

Pet Insurance Policies

Admiral offer an accident policy, a time-limited 12-month policy, and a maximum condition limit policy

They do not at this time offer a lifetime annual benefit policy.

The standard excess is just £60 which is low in comparison with many other policies.

You have to pay 15% of treatment costs for pets over 8 years old.

Note that the cover for CT/MRI scans is limited for all policies, and accident policy also provides limited cover for cruciate ligament injuries.
